About Ritta Kabati Trust

The Ritta Kabati trust fund is non-governmental and non-political organisation established by her excellence Ritta Enespher Kabati in the year 2017 and officially incorporated in the year 2020. It was established as the response to a strong desire of the founder to support the livelihood of people with disabilities but then its horizons extended to women elders orphans and the children as demand arises. It was established to provide services in the whole country but given the limited resources the trust currently operates in Iringa region however basing on the similar reasons of resource shortage the priority is given to more prone areas leaving the vast number of the need groups un touched. We look ahead to building schools and training institutions exclusively for people with disability so as to enhance their capacity to learn and empower them to becoming responsible citizen and make their contribution in the development of the state recognized.

Ritta Kabati Trust was officially incorporated in the year 2020 by Hon. Dr. Ritta E. Kabati, Member of Parliament of the United Republic of Tanzania with special seats. As the response to a strong desire of the founder (Hon. Ritta E. Kabati) to support the livelihood of people with disabilities but then its horizons extended to women elders orphans and the children as demand arises. This followed a heartfelt decision to one-day initiate a trust that would be dedicated to support these groups within our communities. The Trust wishes to develop the welfare and benefit vulnerable groups in the society including women, children, youth, orphans, Elders and people with disabilities against poverty, diseases, and ignorance. We focus mainly on the poorest regions in Tanzania and give priority to particularly vulnerable groups within the society.
